Thanks guys many need your prayers, we got lucky with this one as it moved east and we are in the very north west part of Fla. We have gone through many in the 40+ years in Pensacola. God has blessed us with no real damage (other than trees loss) we have had a few "eyes" pass over us too.
I think there are member in the center of the state will be taking it on the nose this time, our prayers go out to them. These from 2004

Tom - I heard on then news a bit ago that they are downgrading the storm, so only about 5 feet of surge instead of the previous 15 to 20 feet predicted.

Everybody has to be somewhere, you have to take the good with the bad. Your right it is extreme but thankfully not all the time :HaHa :HaHa
