Button Batteries

Post by acourtjester »

So you know I had a very small explosion while sitting at my computer this morning, ended up being a small button battery LR-44 to be exact. :Wow I had a small pile of different used ones on my desk. Someday I will do something with them, after that I looked it up here is what to do.

How do you get rid of button batteries?
How do you dispose of lithium-ion button batteries?

Glad you didn't take it to the eye or something Tom! These lithium batteries seem pretty volatile and I am very careful with my RC car batteries, etc. but never even thought about the little button ones being a problem!
