Z-axis Micro switch Mach3

Post by Chuckweb »

Ok, I’m having an issue with the torch not triggering micro/limit switch then raising back up to make the cut. It keeps wanting to drive the torch into the work. I’m also using a pricecnc THC. I set all my ports and pens to the instructions for the THC but it shows my torch up and torch down are active. The THC is running off a st-v3 breakout board. If someone could help I’d much appreciate it.

It’s a wrightcnc table. I have the THC up and down activated in the input. Doe’s the probe need to be activated? Does z home or z++ need to be activated? Also do I need to click the limit override it the setting tab? Everything was working fine until I installed the pricecnc THC. The torch just wants to push into the part instead of hitting the micro switch and coming back up to make the cut.

Thanks
