Sheetcam

Post by Plasron »

In Sheetcam, post processed, open Mach3, load the tap file, start G-code, the blasted thing starts drawing circles and not cutting the part.
Please HELP I’m pulling my hair out trying to figure out what I changed to cause this to happen.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

You need to list your electronics and the post processor you are using, this is not a cookie cutter setup where one size fits all. Different interface boards require different post processors. If you have a parallel port BOB it is not the same as having USB BOB or ether connections.
A simple look at the number of post processors in SheetCam shows this.
DIY 4X4 Plasma/Router Table
Hypertherm PM65 Machine Torch
Drag Knife and Scribe
Miller Mig welder
13" metal lathe
Small Mill
Everlast PowerTig 255 EXT

Another quick question, is it in Sheetcam, Inkscape or Mach3, changing the Post Processor.
Thanks

the post processor is in SheetCam see attached screenshot and there is no Gorilla or Gecko post processor listed.
Maybe some other member will know which post processor you should be using.
