Post by Plasron »

What settings in Sheetcam would cause Mach3 to stop on line 120 G31 Z-100 F19.685
On another file it stops on line 110 G00.4000
Please help

Ok a G31 command is looking for a Probe input signal, you did not state if the Z moved down until a safety was hit?
G0 is a move command but that line has not locations for it to go, there should be an axis name like X, Y, or Z .400

AS I said above the G31 command is for a probe input signal, and it seen it does not get it and that is why it stops there. see attached image of the input info about the probe. Another thing I find odd is why are you raising the Z to 40" I raise mine to 1"
some other background info would help like is this a new table you are setting up, what post processor are you using.
