help with lead in error

Post by bp4511 »

How do I remove the lead in error on this design? I've tried to shorten and lengthen the lead ins and type and it doesn't clear it. How would I accomplish that thanks for the help.

I wouldn't worry about it. All it is telling you is that some of the geometry is too small to fit a lead in. It will still cut fine, it will just pierce and cut without the lead in where it won't fit. Set your lead in to approximately the thickness of the material and let er rip.

Do you really need an inside off set. I cut a lot of ornaments this year with names in them and I have found NO Offset works better with stuff like this.

No offset makes the spaces between the cuts smaller since it's following the path and burning away part of the piece.
