I agree with those above - this looks like a nice clean file which should load into Sheetcam fine. I have gone ahead and linked your file to eliminate unwanted intersections. This has sometimes been a problem in the past, so try this one to see if it makes any difference for you.

Did you create this drawing using Inkscape? If so - then you've got a lot more patience than I do. There are other programs which are easier to use for these types of mechanical drawings. Did you try loading the dxf I provided above to Sheetcam? That file was exported as dxf from Design Edge, so Inkscape should have no influence on the quality or integrity of the file. Let me know if mine worked for you.

LightBurn is also a great tool for converting svg to dxf, and it automatically links/joins the file before exporting.

What version of SheetCam are you using? Some older versions could create circles in some drawings.

David,
What do you use for mechanical drawings like this. I only use Inskscape and as you stated to make a file like that would take me a long time.
Thanks.

I would be using either AutoCad or Bricscad. AutoCad Rel. 14 or Bricscad V20. My copy of BricsCad V20 is pretty new and runs on Windows 10. My AutoCad 14 is from the late 90's and runs on my Windows 2000 pc. But it is still very useful and I like it better than BricsCad.
