This would take some work. I would either convert the numerical dimensions to inches and redraw from scratch in AutoCAD or Bricscad, or draw it in metric and then scale the dxf after export. If you are handy with Design Edge and have Advanced Design, you could probably draw it from scratch as well.
1 inch = 25.4mm, so just take each metric dimension and divide it by 25.4 to get inches. This would probably take me a few hours to get done. Let me know if you want some help with this one. You can PM me or email to desert.hybrids@cox.net.
Thanks,
David

Give this a try. I would cut one from some thin scrap first and eye it up on your kubota :Like

If I were to draw this part up from your drawing I would just use the numbers given (not changing them first) after the part was finished and all trimmed up I would then scale it using .03937 as my conversion number. As an example the 345mm dimension highest up in the drawing would be changed to 13.583" but I would scale the whole drawing at one time In my CAD I would select the whole drawing and where it says scale I would put (0.03937) it the would scale the drawing to the proper size. As a quick check I would just measure that one spot or maybe even check the center distance between the two pins (298.5mm = 11.752"). For me it is easer and faster to use the given dimensions and scale the whole part later than to stop and convert every dimension as I make the part.
Hope this gives you another way to attack building a part from a drawing.

Larry
P.S. It loks like this part was first made in inches and converted to metric afterwards.

Did you ever figure out the dxf for the KX80 ears? I’m currently searching for the same thing. Thanks

Hi there,
New member here!
Thank you for the dxf.
I plan to use the kubota kx080 quick change design on my Hitachi ex75 excavator.
I need to made a custom quick coupler similar to the K7402. https://www.messicks.com/commoncatalog? ... elId=85039
Could someone tell me the standard distance between the ears for this coupling system.
Thank you!

Matthieu, I would recommend contacting the manufacturer you sited and ask them.
