Here is something that I just put together for a friend. If someone could attach a tribal heart around the dragons without all the pieces falling out, that would be even cooler.

WOW thats some amazing design work. What would you all suggest cutting that out with (plasma cutter, laser, or waterjet) to get the amount of detail to really stay? It looks to me that it would be hard for a plasma cutter to do. I could be wrong, it wouldn't be the first or the last time.

I am not familar with plasma cutting details. I only have access to a 2000 watt trumpf laser. If you laser it, cut it with nitrogen so the corners will not burn.

Snooping around and dug this cool design up from the archives! Looks like at 24" in size you could cut this with plasma with no mods, will need to be tweaked some if you wanted to cut it smaller in size.

Re: Dragon Heart
Plasma cutting is all about resolution. If you sign a check with a fat magic marker, no one will be able to read the signature. However, if you write your name on a large wall with that same marker, every detail of your signature is evident.Metal Troll wrote: ↑Thu Mar 25, 2010 4:02 pm WOW thats some amazing design work. This particular design would cut very well on a plasma table AT 72 INCHES WIDE.
