I designed this and similar frames for wall lights and pictures. Hope you guys can use.

nice frame. stupid questions - what do you use to keep the image/picture in the frame?

Depends on what one intends to do. I can bring it into my Torchmate cad and weld any images in I wish. I can fill it in solid, as I did in the beach scene that's posted in the "contest", and create a picture. One could also use this as the front of a wall light, just add scene etc. I've done that as well. Only limited by imagination. :D

Edit: after reading your post again, I think I misunderstood you a little, sorry. For a picture I made a sheet metal (18ga) back that would accept the pic. and hold it to the frame. Hope that helps.

I've used that for a hummingbird wall hanging. Turned out awesome!
