You are welcome! Your original pcm file had the cuts paths, which would not be of any use to you and only confuse things. So I deleted them.

Is there a place online where I can go to convert these files myself? I am a high school shop teacher and recently switched schools. Previously I had a Plasma Cam table at school and now I have a SpitFire table. I did not realize with the Plasma Cam that I should've been saving all of my file as .DXF and have hundreds of files now that are completely useless on the new table. I cannot get them to open up in VCarve.

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!

I am not aware of any method to convert pcm files to dxf format other than to open them with Design Edge and export in dxf format. Post some of your pcm files here and I will convert them for you.

He no longer has access to the Plasmacam software, so this would be a "no-go".

Sorry for being away so long. The Christmas/New Year's holidays really slow down progress when you're a teacher.

Anyway I can get the attached file converted?

Did the file not attach? Or just download the JPEG image and import that into my VCarve software?

Wish I could help you but I don;t have pcam software to convert it. Do you have a picture of the 24 octagon firepit in your original post cut and built? Not cluing in on how that one all goes together.

Ahhh that wasn't the file I thought I was grabbing. Had no way to preview it without the PlasmaCam software. I only need the drawings off the bottom right hand corner though that are all grouped together.

Played with a bunch of different things and drug them all off to the side. Some of those lines were just for reference. It's messy.

What is the price of these fire pits? I ask, only because I walked past the stack of them in the parking lot outside of my local Tractor Supply today. I noticed that I could easily duplicate them with my plasma table, but I saw their price and decided that I could not make them for anywhere near that price, which is why I have not made them.

Yes, mine would be better, of course, but the largest segment of society considers price ONLY when making a purchase. This is proven time and time again, when someone purchases something MADE IN CHINA over the better built MADE IN THE USA product on the shelf, off to the right.

Can anyone take this firepit and make it where it is 18 inch from side to side all the way around for the sides and bottom?

What drawing software are you using? Perhaps show us the progress you have made drawing this out and we will be happy to try to help you get it done. If you want to have it drawn up for you, send me a PM and I will be happy to help.
