I was on reddit and stumbled upon another fire pit idea. an upside down diamond shape. not really any thing to write home about but figured it might spark someones interest.
you need one octogone eight wide parallelograms and eight additional narrow parallelograms.
anyone want to share an idea for the feet to place under the octagon?

These both look great and would be an easy build. Custom design cutouts could be added to the sides to suite the builder.
