XRP 300 plasma head gushing water/coolant?

Fairly new to using this machine. Used a smaller model in the past. Been using problem free for a couple months until today when I went to change consumables the water was spraying out Lol.. any ideas? I k ow it purges a little but it’s way way too much

Steve - it sounds like you've got one of their high definition cutters - probably not too many here familiar with that cutter, but I would suggest taking a look at your manual for an exploded view of the torch head. Perhaps you have a damaged o-ring allowing the leak. I think it should be pretty self-evident once you take it apart to check it. Let us know how you make out.

If it was spraying uniformly like a sprinkler then its because there is still coolant pressure. Need to set the button on the screen that rotates between manual/auto/off to off so there is no coolant pressure and then take the torch head off.

Same thing happened at my work . Could not figure out the issue , now using brand new head .
