everlast plasmacam

Post by Adam Seidon »

Does anyone know how to wire the metal auto sensing using the ever last plasma torch system? I am having an issue with my torch height changing mid cut.

You'll need an Ohmic Sensing barrel for your torch, or to create a way to connect the sensing wire to your cup shield. All it really consists of is a metal tab that one end contacts the shield and the other connects to the sensing wire on the table. I'm not sure if Everlast has them for their torches, but you might want to contact Oleg or someone else at Everlast and ask them if you can't find one. I do have an Everlast welder that's top notch and customer service has been great, however I use a Hypertherm cutter do to the simple plug and play capabilities with Plasmacam.

Also check in your settings menu under height control, make sure both boxes at the bottom labeled auto zero are checked.
