Scared to DEATH to update to DesignEdge v. 4.5x

I have been getting the calls. MANY calls. People asking ME to solve the problems that have apparently arisen as a result of the new(est) version of DesignEdge being updated.

I have not yet updated my own computers, and until I start hearing something GOOD about the update, I will stick with the older versions, thank you very much.

I updated ONE of my seats to 4.52, to test it. It seems to work okay, but I still lack the confidence to toss all of my seats into one basket. I have been told that there are some file incompatibility issues with the newest DE version and files created using older versions of the software. I have not tested this yet, so it is only here-say for now.

I had a cracked version and found it too clumsy to do things fast. I am a lover of hotkeys and they have changed all that.
I use 3.11 and love it. Today I have a problem with initializing and plasmacam told me they can't help me unless I buy Designedge.

They no longer support 3.11.

Day 1: I have updated six of my seats to 4.52. They all seem to be working.

so far, the Pcs that have been updated to 4.52 seem to be stable. I have not updated all ten of my seats to 4.52 yet.

Wifey just updated Friday and she said it sucks! She can't even draw with it. Now I don't know if there's something she may failed to do but she sure is upset. She said that's why she never did put it on the computer that runs the table.

Please explain. Are you saying she had a previous version she could draw with, but now she CANNOT draw with version 4.52?

I've updated all of my seats to 4.52 (as I always do when a new release comes out) and have not had any problems with any of them - neither the ones I use every day nor the ones that I use for students in my workshops.
