Parts for old machine

Post by pete4477 »

I acquired an old machine (nearly 20 years) to tinker with at home and am in need of some parts, specifically, the little timing belts and pulleys for the x and y axes. Does anyone know another source for them besides going through plasmacam? I would imagine they are common and have other uses.

Mcmaster-carr has timing belts & pulleys as do a number of other online sources.

Hi Pete,
Your best bet would be to purchase directly from Plasmacam. If you fill out the Plasmacam transfer of ownership form for your table, then you can order your replacement parts directly from the website here.

I don't see anything about a transfer of ownership form on the website.

Is there anyway to contact plasmacam other than by phone? I have called several times and only get a recording.

If you leave a message they will normally call you back the same day. Email support is only available for international locations (outside the US).

Thanks David! I know the maintenance kit parts will fit the DHC/DHC2/Samson 510/GoTorch Z-2 models but I'm not certain about the old 98-Z. I'm pretty sure the bearings and springs are fine but unsure about the belts.
