plasmacam dhc heigth control motor z axis

How do I know if it is bad? Having troup
bles, up is down, cant go up untill go down, pressing up makes it go down

Start with where you are located, and what software is running your table. You say you have a DHC. Are you sure you have the correct cables attaches tot he gantry and carriage motors?

The problem you describe can be caused by a bad winding in the motor or a bad connection to one winding through the harness. (assuming the controller isn't malfunctioning which is possible but uncommon)

Ohm the motor windings - they should be ~353 ohms each and have no continuity to ground. If that's OK, ohm the harness or look for broken wires/connections. There are some good instructions in the video manual for troubleshooting the Z motor if you have that handy.
