Best Place is to go directly to Lincoln Electric.
Bodor 12KW Laser Tabe (8'X20')
Lincoln Accumove 3
Hypertherm Powermax 1650
7'x20' Table (plasma and torch)
Mobile Welding (Miller Big 40)

I ordered two 61 inch gear racks and one spur gear from torchmate, when I got the order there was only one gear rack and the spur gear. Torchmate is blaming UPS.
UPS said torchmate as the shipper has to make a claim. So I 'am out one gear rack.

Was the package torn open when you received it? If it was, then they need to file a claim. Then, hopefully they will make it right either way.

Yes - even if the package was damaged in shipping by UPS, the original shipper (Torchmate) will need to file the claim. Most shippers (myself included) insure to value to protect against damage or loss. In a case like yours, it is always best to take photos of the shipping box (if damaged) as these serve as proof and are often required by the insurer in order to successfully complete a claim. If there was no damage to the box and they actually did not pack the second rack, then Torchmate should and most likely make it right.

Also most shippers weigh the outgoing packages to calculate the shipping cost before creating the shipping label and turning the package over to UPS. UPS will have a record of the weight, and if the package you received had a recorded weighed less than the actual weight would be for qty. 2 gear racks plus the spur gear, then that fact would be additional evidence of a mistake on the part of the Torchmate shipping department.

I can’t find a weight from UPS. Sent photos to Torchmate they said that UPS damaged the shipment then taped up the cardboard tube as torchmate only uses nails and screws on there shipments. I was hoping that someone knows where I can get a gear rack beside Torchmate.

Regardless of the fault (UPS or Torchmate) Torchmate is responsible for insuring the shipment and filing an insurance claim to reach a settlement and ship you a replacement (or partial refund) at no expense to you. Believe me - I have been thru this many times.

Search the tracking number on ups site. I think it should show the weight.

So i don't have to pay. Its not my fault you put a metal piece in a soft paper package. They changed there tune

For sure, cancel the payment with your credit card. That always gets them providing you with some attention to resolve the issue.
