Cutmaster 101 CNC Board

Post by tvall129 »

Hi everyone, first post. If this isn't the appropriate place for it please let me know. I just got a killer deal on a cutmaster 101 and I'm in the process of building a CNC table. I was hoping maybe someone would have a lead on a CNC interface card so I can run the sl100 sv torch. Or is it possible to make the sv torch work without the interface card? Thanks in advance!!

Welcome. No problem making that work without the interface card, just need to hook up your 2 trigger wires, and 2 wires for THC if you decide to use a THC on your machine. Without the interface card you will use raw voltage for a THC rather than divided voltage.

By far the cheapest option to deal with raw arc voltage would be a $69 Mesa THCAD-300 plus a Mesa 7i96 ($119) or Mesa 7i76e ($199) which will allow you to build a high performance plasma table using Linuxcnc and its plasmac configuration.
