Etsy DXF/SVG Download

This is the first time I have tried this. I downloaded a file and opened it an it needs to be tweaked for sure. It is a Koozie holder I was wanting to put in the shop. It looks like it is all separate objects and I need some guidance on where to start and how to clean it up.

What file should I start with and then getting it to one object.

No I was out of town and just getting back to it. I was hoping someone knew how to help me.

You have a bunch of disjoined segments/nodes.

I downloaded it just to check out your work MO but never cut it, I didn't even know what it was lol! Now i know....

How did you clean up the DFX? Did you just go in and have to join the nodes with the node editing tool,
That's only way I have been able to fix this issue I get it a lot when using DFX files form Etsy and other sources.

I redrew it, i think i tried to join all the issues but was easier to simply redraw.

I can see that it was a very simple drawing.

I just tool a look at the original Etsy file and it's very simple and pretty quick to link/join the disjointed nodes.

If you are interested in learning how to draw this from scratch using the original posted image as a guide, here is one way to do it.
I have provided the actual svg file for this sequence, so you can follow along at each step to see what I have done. Let us know if you have any specific questions and/or comments.
