I am needing help converting this jpeg into a usable dxf. When I use the scan and trace wizard on the torchmate cad the meat cleaver shows up as a broken line. I need the meat cleaver to be one solid piece. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Please help converting
Thanks! Eye surgery was a great success and the gas bubble that has been blocking sight in my right eye since then is down to just a tiny annoying bubble. The nerves in the back are starting to 'wake up' so that's a good thing but it is also adding a bit of pain to the mix that wasn't there before so hopefully this phase moves pretty quickly too!
Good to be back at it! Flying to Vegas this week to teach another PlasmaCAM class so fun times!!

Re: Please help converting
Another glad to see you back rdj. Hoping the healing is ahead of schedule.
Concerning conversions in TM cad. Not sure if you're using an older version like me v7.1 or the newer v9 but matters not for our purposes. One can achieve excellent results with the node edit tool simply by plotting nodes with the mouse. I created this profile in less than two minutes and could add circles along with other needed detail in a few more, leaving only scaling to size and ensuring good cut. Just takes a little practice and who knows. You just may find you actually enjoy it and have great results. It's how I do all my files, even those simple as this.
