dfx file not working with sheetcam

dfx file not working with sheetcam

Yes i got a file from langmuir sharing site and there is a tool posted that i would like to use in my blacksmith shop. I loaded it in steet cam and i kept on getting a error saying the layer does not exist. I'm still learning fusion so bear with me.

am i doing something wrong of does the dxf need cleaned up. i see a few extra dots on it and am still trying to figure it all out.

Did you pick the correct layer when setting up the cut operation in Sheetcam? Quite often the cutting operation layer box has the layer name from the last file cut, not the current file layer name.

Thanks East German! Worked perfect. Also WyoGreen thank you for pointing that out also. The new one worked great but I still could not get it to work after putting in the layer name.

Your file only needs linking to join all the nodes into a single closed path.

Hi, i'm going to cut one, so i edited the file to make a single layer, and made the entity a single block as well.

Try it out if it works for you.
