found this http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/sto ... arketID=36 and was wondering what kind of thicknesses it would be able to bend if i made it into a press brake and what if i used two would that be over kill i would like to be able to bend 4 feet of 1/4 steel does anyone have any plans for a good press brake ive been looking all over the net tha last few weeks and have found so many pictures but no blueprints where do i get the teeth for the press brake can someone help me out

Good morning,
I don't know if I'd trust that press for 1/4". Bending 4ft of 1/4 will take 12-16 tons per foot of material.....(48-64 tons of pressure). My biggest concern would be the deflection of the "punch". How is it held in place? If it is just the pins on the rams.....no way. If it has slides on the sides.....maybe. Maybe you could shorten the height of the punch?
