Re: Cobra
Let's not insult any aliens. That circle is an arc with the start and end angle backwards. Arcs extend from the start angle counterclockwise to the end angle, on that arc the end angle was 2 degrees less than the start angle, so it turned a full 358 degrees instead of just 2 degrees as intended. I used a text editor to swap the 50 and 51 group codes, which effectively swapped the start and end angle, which corrected the problem. Some software just does that sometimes, the angles are usually correct, just backwards. Human error....

Re: Cobra
I've done a lot of CAD drafting and DXF programming...
In this case, the problem is in writing not reading the DXF file.
It would be interesting to track down exactly what software causes that.

Re: Cobra
oh, it's not your fault ironhorse, we were just wondering what software is doing that,
just for reference, can you post the pcm file?
now that we know what the error is, and what software caused the error, we just need a source file that triggers the error, in order to study possible causes/solutions....

Re: Cobra
i see this alot in my copy of plasmacam. with certain files it seems to trigger either a circle or on rare occasions a shutdown of the program.
