photos start at the computer table & go through to the exhaust tunnel from the table. The green wall at the front is held up to the table by siliconing 2 rare earth magnets to the Alumalite panel.
When you remove the panel using the handles, it exposes a 3'6" x 5' piece of 1/2" x 1/2" small poultry mesh wire supported by 1" x 1" galv angle.
Anything you cut now slides down the mesh to the front panel area & 90% of the drose goes to the floor.
A 10" round duct supplies outside air to the exhaust chamber.Fireproof matting can be laid ovr the open spaces on the table, thus increasing the ammount of suction around the plasma torch.
The other shot shows the 24" x 24" tunnel leading to the 24" x 24" exhaust fan on the outside wall.
There are lots of ways to modify the system.Go For It

Nice idea on the catch screen. Looks like a nice setup. I had thought of something like that but on wheels and not at a slop. Yours is a good way not to have to pull it out they just slide down to the floor. Nice :D

Do you use the nitrogen on your 1000? Or I should say "with" your 1000......

Use the nitrogen on fine detail work on 3/16" & 1/4" alum. The work is superclean. It is fed in on a "T" connection between the dryers.

So the 10" is fresh air intake and the 24x24 is exhaust correct? What are you using for a fan? Wuold it draw suction without matting on the table for smaller pieces and where do u get the matting from? Thanks!!

The fan is an industrial, 24' with a louvered exterior. Make sure the fan has an enclosed motor. If you go to a safety supply company, they should ba able to get it for you. It is also available in a fiber woven style.
The main reason for the 10" duct work is to keep from extracting all the warm air out of the shop.
Covering the void spaces on the table is still a good idea.

A fan like 1 used in a paint booth. The difference is this one exhausts out the side of the building, not down through the grating in the floor.
