Take it step by step and when you get stuck, ask for help. Then move onto the next step.

Have you studied any Youtube videos on Inkscape. Apparently there's quite a lot.
Have you read the Sheetcam user guide and viewed the Sheetcam Youtube videos.

The whole process from drawing to cutting is not so simple and a bit of study is involved.
