PlasmaCam 4x4 grate replacement (new ideas)

Has anyone changed there grates to flat bar? If so could you post some pics of how it was done please. Looking for new ideas

Thinner is better when it comes to grates, the stock grates actually work very well.

The more surface area the back of your sheet is in contact with the more slag sticks to the back, the more it welds itself to the grate, and the worse the cut looks in that area.

There are dxf files here that give you the ability to cut your own replacement grates.

I use a machine torch and magnetic mount, specifically the Snap-n-Cut from Mick in Australia. They are great mounts and with the mount purchase he includes the files to cut a support system for using 2.5"x.125" strap slats. I've been using it for several years and love it.
