Giving back
Think It's time to give a little. Seems I've done so much taking. There is so much that can be done with cnc. I started stick welding around the age of 10 which was 63 years ago. Had my own shop for 20 or more years and started into CNC plasma after retirement. Started completely rethinking my methods of fabrication. For me it's a love hate relationship with CNC. I love to design parts press go in Mach and watch the parts come out. I hate the days when I've got to baby sit the thing and try to guess what the problem is. That calls for younger brains then mine. I' don't even know how to post pictures and files properly but will try. A few of these are from way before CNC was invented. Hope nobody minds.
Steam engine I built around the age of 14[ Fork lift built from misc parts an scraps around 30 years ago still in almost daily usd. Cold cut saw built before my CNC days. Tractor built 2 winters ago using 100 year old 3 hp 600 rpm international engine and cub cadet trans axle.Lots of CNC cut parts. Snow blade for my little Hijet. Art display at a local trading post. Some toys the grandsons love.5x10 table,Precision plasma gantry,Cand CNC electronics,Hypertherm 65 plasma,King lathe and mill,255 lincoln mig welder.Dawson Creek BC. Re: Giving back
Well you have been busy, interesting in the things we build for ourselves, some functional and some for the joy of it. Time paid back many times over seeing the smile on the little guys face. Even though it looks like one I think that is not a "Hit and Miss" motor.
