Hello all.
I am new to the cnc world and the software. I just purchased the Crossfire plasma table. My intention is to learn how to make signs and decorations. Been trying to figure out Fusion 360 and Mach 3. Not getting far with any of it. I click and click and click all kinds of stuff on both programs but have gotten only to the point of running the "breaking in" tao file for the Crossfire. Made a couple of files but haven't converted any into a tap file yet. I need to learn how extrude and set the tool path. looking forward to learning how to complete my first project and share for some feedback and advise.

Welcome! I have some experience with Fusion and may be able to help. I don't use it for my plasma table but I do use it for my mill. Extruding is easy, hover your mouse over the shape you wish to extrude and it should turn blue. Right click and from the flyout menu click on Extrude and you can enter the thickness you want to extrude to. Start out with simple stuff, everyone wants to create something awesome right away but you really need the basics first or you may end up frustrated and having no fun. Best of luck!
