An update more or less, not really plasma related.
Unless you're fervently awaiting files from me. Seems a small F-1 tornado decided to drop in for a visit 4:45 a.m Saturday. This is my view out one of my kitchen windows. These tall pines could easily have taken out my house and my family along with it. The two stacked across my drive extend well beyond the midpoint of my house and the huge top of a third not seen in this pic sailed across the drive ripping the power from my home. None of the 5 massive oaks surrounding us gave way and apparently helped shield me as they received a lot of damage. I cannot express how fortunate, blessed, relieved, thankful and grateful we are all rolled up into one to have only been without power for a couple of days and a destroyed yard. Sure, this'll slow me down a little and get me further behind but I can certainly accept that over the alternative. So those that are waiting just know they are coming and I apologize for more delays. I also want to thank all of you for supporting my work as I truly have the best job in the world. Particularly meeting and working with you awesome people from around the world, pretty big stuff for a boy from Mississippi.
Y'all take care,

Ben, glad you and yours are safe and unscathed for the most part. "Stuff" can be fixed. Mother Nature has a way of making us realize how precious life is, doesn't she? Regards and best wishes for the future, Rod Sanders

Just saw this, Ben. Glad it wasn't any worse, bad enough as it is! We need you around here!
Side note: I have some Mississippi roots, my mother's family. Choctaw and Attala counties, and thereabouts. Always liked visiting as a kid.

Thanks guys and so right. Stuff is stuff so not sweating that one bit. This was my grandparents homestead I'd visit as a little boy in the mid 70's since passed to me. Your roots aren't far from mine Randy. Located in Tate Co. myself Choctaw is just about an hour south on I-55, just below Grenada lake. Had lots of fun around there. Also, congrats once more on the 'tracing'.

Things go slow after the storms, I hope FEMA is stepping up and helping to clean things up. We have been here over 40 years and a few Hurricanes have passed over, last one was Ivan. We lost a number of Pine trees small damage to the home, no power for about 7 days.
Good luck with the clear up.

Ben, good to know you're alright.
Same thing happened to my wife and I on April 29th last year. We came out of it unhurt fiscally.
Cleanup was all on us but, our insurance company was outstanding with their help.

No sign of FEMA, at least not in my county nor anywhere close to my home. They did assist in more populated areas to the north but have no concern with what I have here. It's only my yard with crushed concrete benches and some flattened 'yard art' the Mrs. and I did together along with some other decorations. Again we're so fortunate.
There's a church youth group that's volunteered to help, coming armed with a few men equipped with saws next weekend so hopefully the majority of this mess will be gone. A few days after it hit the power company finally came out, obviously stressed from downed power scattered about. They initially told me they wouldn't hook the wires up that had been ripped loose from their connection at the weather head. After brief consultation in terms they could understand, most of which I'll not repeat here ( Y'all go to lunch, I'll swivel this LB upright and tie 'er back in myself. Be done before you get back ) Glad they saw it my way Running a generator to keep Jon's bed inflated was for the birds.
Thanks for the well wishes guys! Glad it was no worse for you as well.
