I'm from Durban, South Africa. I've been plasma cutting for about 3 years with LinuxCNC. Using QCad, dfx2gcode and Inkscape. I've developed a bash script to make ngc files created with dxf2gcode "plasma friendly" - happy to share with anybody who wants a copy. My machine is general-purpose - using sprocket and chain instead of belts. It does laser vectors, plotting, percussion engraving, milling, foam cutting.
For plasma cutting, I use a Chinese non-hf machine with thc - great quality.
