Software help

Post by Arrowhead »

Hey guys newbie here...I have a logo that I have edited in corel draw and have converted to dxf. It does not show up in my command and cut software when I open it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

What version of dxf did you export it from in Corel?

Try using R13 dxf version or better yet use the plt export rather than the dxf.

Corel is only giving me one choice of dxf. I chose the plt. It seems to be working but very slow, is there a way to compress the plt files?

You could post your dxf file and I will try to help you. Or send me a PM.

Not sure what version of Corel your using but here is the dxf export in my Corel 2018. The first drop down menu named Export Version will contain the versions you can select from.

As I mentioned plt is the way to go with your software and there is no way to compress the plt file to speed things up but it really shouldn't be slow. If you reply and attach your plt file I will be happy to have a look and see why it's running slow.
