Hobbiest or ....

Post by Wyldkat66 »

So, got the bug to try something new, picked up a Langmiur Crossfire Pro 4x3 and learning the CNC thing. Good with computers, pretty familiar with Corel for art and back when dinosaurs roamed the earth I took some Mechanical Drafting (pencil and desktop style) courses. Learning Fusion360 as needed. Right now just doing signs for family/friends, some gift stuff but eventually might look at trying to make money with this thing. Not looking to get rich doing this but as a semi-retirement thing something to keep me busy.

Really enjoy seeing what people are doing with their tables.

Welcome aboard! It sounds like you've got a good technical background for cad/cam, and are already up and running (or should I say "up and cutting"). There is great fun to be had, and that Langmuir table is one of the really nice ones that gets plenty of great reviews. Post some of your work when you get a chance, we would love to see what sort of projects you are working on.

Welcome aboard, great place to be with many great projects or ideas for you to use. Good to hear the "You made that for me" when you hand things over. You can use the search function in the upper right to look for other things to cut, you will find many have made good money.
