Re: Thank for the add
Brad - Welcome to the forum. Please tell us more about yourself - do you currently have a table, or are you on a quest for more information to help you make an informed decision about your upcoming purchase of diy build? Are you currently familiar with any of the cad/cam software, or still trying to make a decision on picking a jumping off point to start learning? Inkscape and Fusion 360 are both free, and seem to be quite popular with fellow members. Sheetcam is relatively inexpensive, and something you may need for converting your vector files to g-code for running your table.
Let us know if you have specific questions and there are plenty of folks here ready and willing to help.

Re: Thank for the add
By the way, here is a simple free online program for converting your dxf or svg file to g-code. I'm not sure how it deals with lead-ins, but might be worth looking into to help get you started.

Joe thinks everyone should reply within a few hours. He doesn't understand that some people have other things to do than camping out on PlasmaSpider.

Thank you for pretending to read my mind but that’s not it at all. If it is important to you, I did not bother to notice the date of the OP‘s post so I was not aware that only eight hours or so had passed since he logged in.

It is always helpful to actually read the entire post before responding. No shortcuts here.

Not that it matters, but "a few hours" has turned into 48 hours. I guess we should expect to hear from him again after St. Patrick's Day ...
But I am going to LMAO when he comes back asking for a free copy of PlasmaCam software
