Hi, came here because people said it's an amazing place for designs and files, but as I look around I see lots of great advice on many topics.
I'm a hobbyist and I'm starting with a Langmuir Crossfire PRO because that fits my budget and garage space.
I'm amazed at the capabilities so far.
I'm a mechanical engineer by training and have been focusing on the internal combustion engine and energy economics side of things for decades, working for a large oil company. But also part of me loves mechanical design and this plasma table scratches that itch.

Re: Hi from NorCal
Welcome aboard Matt! That Langmuir table is a great choice - what plasma cutter are you using with it? As you have most likely discovered, Langmuir has some great Fusion 360 tutorials.

What sorts of projects have you been cutting with your new toy? Perhaps post some photos so we can take a look. I too am a Mechanical Engineer - worked for many years in Space Sciences building flight parts for missions to Mars and Saturn. There was lots of fun to be had there as well.
