completed 3 point forks

Post by elkriverfab »

I completed my 3 point tractor forks and wanted to post a few pictures of it.

I added a few extra supports and painted it.

I also added some tie down points so I could strap loads down.

Just wanted to post it for all to see, maybe spark some ideas of your own. :D

That looks sharp Shawn, what are you lifting with such long forks? Round bails of hay?

They look great and seem to have a good amount of adjustability if needed.

Sorry, don't mean to burst in here and steal your thunder.
I just wanted to share the forks I built for my tractor.
Mine attach to the loader. I cut mine by hand since I don't have a CNC table yet.

Yours look great by the way!!

No matter where they're mounted they sure are handy to have for all kinds of things.

iou,

Yours look great.

Having a front end loader with a fork setup like that is handy for sure.

Great design.

Thanks for sharing. :D

Plasmajoe,

I built them to move square bales of hay, deer blinds and anything else that will fit on it.

I dont have a front end loader so I must improvise

Firewood, downed trees and so on.

Just a helping hand.

Before I ended up on a farm I had a front end loader with a backhoe, oh how I should have kept that thing!!!!!!

Well...............The next time I come across 20 grand I will pick one up again

So the old ford will have to do for now.

I just like playing with the tractor so there will be more stuff made for it.

I spend my evenings looking at all the cool stuff people have built on a site called millerweld (project section).
If you want to build something or are looking for ideas, someone there has either done it or are doing it.

It is fun to look at everything people build out of neccesity or for fun there.

Thanks also to Chopper John for the complement!
