Welcome Herman,

Okay ... WHY? People tend to want to convert a plasma to a laser, not the other way around.

Welcome aboard Hernan! Perhaps share some photos of your setup. What kind of plasma cutter are you using, and what software do you like for your cad/cam work?

Welcome aboard Herman there is a YouTube video of another guy who did the same switch. He bought the laser to have the mechanism to attach the plasma torch to. It made a very small table but he was able to cut with it. have fun You could use what you have to cut parts for building a new larger table.

Buenas tardes; The laser is obsolete, the cost of repair is more expensive than that of a new equipment, the power source is discontinued; the tube has 2000 hours left. I have to try to repair the power source, the workshop I have is a turnery therefore a co2 laser is not very useful for me, if I repair it I would find some use for it.
thanks for the welcome.-

Actually, very few modifications, I found a 24 volt dc pneumatic valve that is activated when the laser cuts, I took out the cables and put a NO relay that closes the plasma circuit; the software is Icaro, and design in rhino

Hello Joe; The laser cannot be repaired by technical service. The person who repaired it died. They had it for sale and there were no interested parties so they gave it to me because they needed the place for a new one.
