Fume dog fume extractor.

Post by constantproject »

So I just had a buddy of mine twist my arm into one of these...

Does anyone have any experience with them?

I am finally going to have A/C in my garage so I didnt want to blow all my conditioned air outside but with the amount of dumbassery I manage to accomplish out there...well, it was time.
I plan to try it on the langmuir table when I finish putting that together and for any welding of course.
I bought through a dealer who saved me the shipping at least and said he would do the same for anyone I sent his way if anyone else is looking.

I used one that almost the same except that it blew the smoke outside. It worked well but you need to keep the inlet close to the torch or smoke will escape it. I suspect with that unit it will plug the filter pretty quickly and although it will catch the particulate you are still exhausting the harmful fumes back into your shop.
