Hi everyone, I’m new here and wanted to say hi and maybe get your thoughts on something.
I’ve been wanting a Cnc table for a few years now but, am just now in financial position to make it happen. I have my eye on a STV CNC Sparx pro 8 paired with a Hypertherm 65 sync or a Everlast PowerPlasma 102i. I was wondering if anyone has any experiences with any of these machines that might be helpful in my decision making process.
I plan on starting a small “side business” making signs and artwork to sell on line, as well as custom brackets and plates for the local market.

There is a really nice Samson 510 table for sale on this forum right now.
The software is only BASIC design, BASIC height control and BASIC machine control, but adding the three advanced upgrades would make it an awesome choice.

Welcome aboard Yeeterz! I don't know anything about the STV table, but Hypertherm makes some great machines and the Sync is one of their newer offerings. If you decide to use the FineCut Sync cartridge, make sure you get the revised version as many users had problems with the original version. What design software are you using, and what sorts of signs and artwork do you plan to create? I assume you are talking about brackets for automotive use? Perhaps you can get a nice little side business going there.
Good luck!
