Hello Everyone!

New member signing up based in Eastern N.C. Pamlico County. New to CNC. Mostly mechanical background but, a small amount in fabrication and welding. Personally interested in Motorsports, Off-road vehicles, Artistic Iron, and we are in the marine industry professionally here in N.C. Moved here from Vegas about 7 years ago and really miss The Mint 400, Baja, Classic cars and Customs, and "Fast" Lake Boats. It's a little different mindset on toys and race vehicles this side of the Rockies but hey I'm ''Under the mindset of If you build it they will come." Haahaa.

We are getting our Langmuir Systems Pro Table, delivered soon. And am currently setting up a small item blasting, and powder coating area in the shop. Have NO clue about the Fusion 360 cad stuff or drawing out custom parts but that will be crucial to learn for me. Any tips are appreciated, and I'm always down to help out fellow Motorheads in the area. Thanks!

Welcome aboard! In addition to Arnold Rowntree's excellent Fusion 360 tutorial videos (which I have been thru twice in the last several years) Langmuir also has some great Fusion 360 videos geared to starting out with simple drawings and plasma cutting. Arnold's lessons are more geared to creating solid models for things like 3D printing. Here is the Langmuir link:

https://www.langmuirsystems.com/software/fusion

I have been thru these as well and I would recommend to start out with them first, and then if time permits take a look at Arnold's videos.

Let us know if you have any specific questions and we will be happy to try to help you.
