1971 Dodge Charger File Help

Post by eckcotech »

Hey all, I have a drawing I finished but am having a bit of trouble getting it to a dxf file. When I use TMCad to create a dxf for this file, the cut order is messed up and some of the thin lines need to be line cut without lead-ins.

Any help on this would be great, Also feel free to use this file. it's one I made and am happy to share.

Hi,
Send me a dxf or cdl file and I will convert it to a TM cut file.

Here is a cutpath for the Torchmate. Let me know if I need to change anything else. The bridges in the letters may be a little small. I can fix that if it is a problem.

Wow, that was fast!

I may have to do some more reading on TMCad. This file still wants to cut the outside first or second instead of last and I am unsure how to change the cut order.

in any case, thank you VERY much for your help. I will spend some time with the software today and figure out cut orders. I am sure I will need it again in the future.

Hi,
Here is a redrawn cut path. I did have to get rid of some double lines for some reason. I rearranged the cut order by going to " Layout... Sequence... Start sequence by list". You can set the sequence any way you want with that.
I tried this new cut path, and it works fine in TM3.
