Tube Bender

Post by nalin400m »

has anyone successfully built a tube bender? I've seen several files on different websites, but no results. I would REALLY like to have a bender...and notcher if I can find one.

here are examples:

I made a hydraulic bender by modifying a similar file to the one post in that link...it works with the pro tools dies.
Check pirate4x4 for threads on how to build a hydraulic bender, I have a thread for mine on there (CCCbroncos)

You can also do an internet search for "chopper builders handbook" and "tube bender" . I forget the website the plans were on but those search words should bring it up for you, they have several different plans and dimensions available .

They also have information and plans to build a pretty nice tube notcher.

The chopper builders handbook shows photos of the actual build as well as the finished products and not just plans and drawings.
