CNC Plasma not firing when it contacts the metal

Hi i am Geoff
I am a retired Maintenance Supervisor have worked in the Meat industry for almost 50 years.
I run a Engraving Business and make signs just for Sumthing else to keep me busy.

I have a issue with my plasma cutter at the moment. It is MYT portable cutter and the screen died i have fitted the new one but will not fire when driving down to the product. It does everything else l but that then message comes up arc break. i can fire it manually by pressing the button on the screen.

Welcome aboard Geoff! MYT is not a brand I am familiar with. Where did you purchase it, and are you local here in the US or located overseas?
Perhaps post a few photos showing us your portable cutter so we can get a better idea of exactly what you are dealing with.
