There are a few DIY types here I being one, great project, and you get it configured as you want. I have built 10 tables with different software and electronics, will help. Take a good look at LinuxCNC for the software little change of pace but if you starting out it will be a good time to learn.

TEN tables? do you sell them after you build them, or do you have a warehouse full of tables run by overworked elves churning out metal art like a steam-powered Santa's workshop?

I have sold 8, I am keeping the last one and one to my daughter in Maryland. Last one has LinuxCNC and will be adding Clearpath servos to it very soon.
Just having fun building things to keep the old gray matter working.

Yep. I am at a crossroads. Get back into it, or sell of everything and prepare for the Hell on Earth that is only months away.
