Everlast 50i error code

Post by Diego »

Hello everyone, I am new to this group and I just received my crossfire in conjunction with the Everlast powerplasma 50i. I connected everything as the manual said but when testing the system the machine gave me an error E05 “trigger switch stuck” after 3 seconds of starting the cut. I disassembled the torch to check the switch and everything looks as it should. I don’t have the slightest idea how to solve it. I hope for your help, thank you very much!

I suspect that there is nothing wrong with your torch switch. An ER05 will occur if the pilot arc is active for 3 seconds and the arc has not transferred to plate yet. Check your ground clamp to be sure is is securely attached to the material you are cutting and be sure that your torch head is at the correct piercing height, if it is too high the arc may not transfer. Let us know what you find.
