Hello, does anyone have any feedback on fine cutting with a PT80 or PT100 torch? THANKS

I have not cut with one of those torches in some time but did have good results using the nozzle with the smallest orifice, I think that was .9mm nozzle and keeping my amps and speed low. Not as clean and dross free as a Duramax torch with fine cut parts but still very acceptable.

Have you tried contacting your supplier for those torches? They should be able to provide cut charts with info regarding cut speeds, cut height, pierce height, pierce delay, amperage and the correct choice of consumable parts for what you need to cut. I use Hypertherm, but follow these detailed cut specs as the 30 pages of cut charts in the torch operator manual show. Good cuts every time!
