parts tumbler

Post by Jason@bc »

I ffiiinnnnaaaalllyyy got my parts tumbler built after working on it after hours for the last little while, threw all my crops from the iron worker in to help along with cleaning, after 30 min these came out real nice I'd say, they are small chain latches for gates etc...I was planning on painting it...but something tells me that's gonna wait a while, too many other demanding projects in the way. I'm glad I took the time to build this though, I know it's gonna save me a lot of time.

Nice! Do you have a green filter on your camera?

Nice tumbler build! Do you just use random plasma drops as the media to do the work?

If noise in an issue, you might consider wrapping that drum in a layer of rubber matting, or glue the neoprene mats from Harbor Freight Tools to the exterior, to deaden the sound. If you live out in the boonies, then I guess it doesn't matter.

I lined the inside with baler belting....it sure helps, if it wears out I might install some of that 1/2'' thick poly plastic.
