Hello new to plasma spider

Post by Rabbit »

I have a versa cut 40 10 years old,it just blew all the airhoses in side of case. I got a new hose from Eastfield but no help on diagram where the hoses go. They were all laying in bottom of case. Anybody have a diagram of hose placement. Eastfield was of no help on that, or pictures of their 40/60. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

That's a drag. I had look to see if I could dig anything up and had the same results as you. I suppose you could just take your best guess and see what happens and keep rearranging things until you get it operational. How many hose connections are inside this thing?

I’m curious to know how many hose connects are inside of there as well….? They all just blew off at the same time? Underlining issue for why that happened? Post some pics of the current machine your working on… if we can see it, I’m sure we can figure it out how it was connected.

Welcome aboard! I would recommend you reach out to the Versa Cut tech support for answers to your questions. I would also expect that you may be able to find the service manual online in pdf format.

Also - since this cutter is apparently sold by Eastwood, give them a call and talk to their technical support team.

Thanks for replies i will post pics tomorrow. Called Eastwood and asked about the hoses and no help, These are made in china so i would have to call there to get any info. When i ordered the new regulator ordered a hose kit for it at same time, got 1 30inch hose that would replace all hoses ( not even close ). Filter 1 hose. regulator 3 hosesone for air gage is so small , 1 hose for torch.2 hoses for air solenoid. cant figure out how to include pic in post.

Never heard of reboot products. Is that the manufacturer of your air solenoid or is that a supplier you are looking at for the air solenoid?

It's 10 or 11 years old so time to buy new one since they are so cheap now before the tariffs hit China goods
