If we let our minds wonder & think about fire rings as lamp shades????? you should be able to get what ever design you want, just on a smaller scale.I use .050 alum on a lot of projects. This piece I would roll into the circle & pop- rivit the ends together & a shade with lights suspended from the centre of the shade would work depending again on size. I might have one of these made by next week & will send a photo & file.
Now back to the hockey game.

look what I found.cut this on the plotter out of vinyl. Applied it to a piece of Styrene. Cut to shape.
Have at it. Good luck placing the loons or whatever. & shaped it by hand. 4" top opening. 13.5" bottom opening. That allows a 1/2" overlap for pop-rivet. Slope turns out to be about 6.25"

if you need to do much of this I would suggest this software....

Free to try and not to expensive to buy.

This is not a cone, but a rectangle to square transition. Pretty handy to have. Bookmark this one...
