OK here is another attempt at a file. I ditched plasmatrace as it gave me really bad tracings. found a open source program called inkscape that works like adobe illustrator.
I imported it into torchmate CAD lite and while it needs some nodes joined together to show fill correctly, It came out better than previous attempts.

I played with the trace settings, Looks like this turned out perfect. The letters are not welded to the section rest of the piece. Thought you would like the artistic freedom to do that yourself
